I want this dress. And it just so happens that I will need a dress for an afternoon wedding this June.
The pattern is from 1956. It will have to be resized. I don’t know how to do that. It might make me look like a bus.
And yet, I am considering the possibilities.

I know how to resize a pattern. Bring it on over & I'll help you :-). The retro look is so in, but you could get a now fabric & it would be so cute. It's always fun to consider these kinds of possibilities.

Now you know you'll have to photograph the dress and post it once it is completed.
You'll need to also make a fluffy 2tier net half slip or the skirt will just hang limp. It's cute, go for it!
I love these retro dresses. I look forward to seeing how it turns out! You need a sweet little pill hat to go with it and a clutch with gloves.
