On my desk

P1010018

Stodgy grown-up shoes housing feet that really want to be in flip-flips. Or strappy heels.

Ooooh, I love flip-flop weather!! And I very much dislike grown-up shoes!!!
Hey, how are you liking the "Sew What, Skirts" book?? I almost ordered it recently--I'm a beginner sewer but love skirts and always thought they seemed easier than the pj shorts I tried in Home Ec that my mom had to finish for me!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog--I'll be swinging by here now, too!! :)

I tell you, I think I am going to love the book. It "seems" clear to me, which is saying quite a lot. So far, I am still in analysis mode, but I will start something soon. The skirts are very, very cute, at least on the models in the book. We'll see...

I still have my 9 West pumps in red and black that I used to wear in college and as a career girl - just to look at, though. I don't think I will ever look good in swanky pumps again! At least I did once...

I can certainly relate to the flip-flop but I'm not much of a strappy heel girl. Maybe just out of practice.

Great shot... life in the grown up world can suck a bit can't it.
