Any guesses as to when this was made? It was used as a cutter quilt because it is in such poor condition. From what I can gather through perusing the other stuff from this auction lot, it was probably in this condition in 1970, if not earlier. I have this square and its backing. I plan to frame it, because I can't bear to see it deteriorate further.
